Empowering Knowledge
Preserving Heritage.
Twsello is a cultural-tech organisation reimagining how people engage with history, heritage, and knowledge. Founded by three students from Maharaja’s College, Ernakulam, Farook College, Kozhikode, and National Academy of Legal Studies and Research (NALSAR), Twsello has grown into a collective of researchers, scholars, and heritage enthusiasts.
Recognised as a startup by Startup India and Kerala Startup Mission, Twsello operates at the intersection of research, digitization, and experiential learning. We lead archival digitization projects, curate inclusive heritage walks, and design academic programs aligned with evolving education frameworks.
With 10,000+ archival materials digitized, 50+ heritage walks conducted, and 100+ student internships enabled across Kerala, Twsello is building an ecosystem where knowledge is not preserved in silence, but experienced, shared, and lived.
At its core, Twsello believes in liberating knowledge and making it accessible, inclusive, and alive for everyone.

What we do
We design and deliver experiences that make heritage accessible, inclusive, and alive.
Digital Archives & Preservation
We digitise and preserve historical materials, transforming fragile records into accessible, searchable, and future ready archives. From manuscripts to institutional collections, we ensure knowledge is not lost but continuously reused.
Historiography & Historical Writing
We engage with both the study and practice of writing history. This includes critical analysis of sources, interpretation of narratives, and the production of well researched, responsible historical works. From academic writing to public-facing histories, we aim to create accurate, inclusive, and meaningful representations of the past.
Meta Research, Surveys & Publications
We conduct structured surveys and research studies to generate new insights, while also analysing existing knowledge systems and gaps. Our work extends to publishing research findings, essays, and documentation, contributing to both academic and public knowledge spaces.
Heritage Walks & Immersive Trails
Curated, inclusive experiences that turn cities and spaces into living classrooms. These walks connect people with history through direct, sensory engagement.
Public History & Social Engagement Programmes
We organise sessions, workshops, and discussions that explore historical, social, and political themes in a meaningful and responsible way. These programmes create spaces for critical dialogue, public participation, and informed engagement with contemporary issues through historical perspectives.
Twsello Fellowships, Courses & Internships
Structured learning pathways offering hands-on experience in research, archives, and heritage practice, designed for students, researchers, and enthusiasts.
